Happy children learn best.
Our philosophy and values
Happy children learn best
We believe children flourish when they feel safe, settled and valued. Our approach is built on these values.
Kindness
We treat every child with warmth, patience and respect.
Safety
Children’s safety and wellbeing are always our first priority.
Growth
We celebrate small steps and help children build confidence at their own pace.
Curiosity
We encourage questions, exploring and having a go.
Structure
Clear routines help children feel secure and ready to enjoy their day.
Partnership
We work closely with families, because parents know their children best.
Our environment
A caring and welcoming environment
Children thrive when they feel comfortable. We aim to create a positive, respectful atmosphere where every child is welcomed, can build friendships with others, and feels confident enough to try new things.
Warm, respectful relationships with the adults who care for them.
A space where children feel heard and comfortable being themselves.
Encouragement that helps confidence grow, one small step at a time.
Activities and experiences
Plenty to enjoy and explore
Our sessions draw on a varied mix of activities so children can play, create, think and unwind.
Activities vary from session to session, so not every activity will take place every day. Please ask us about what a typical session looks like.
Creative play
Arts, crafts and imaginative play that let children express themselves.
Games and puzzles
Problem-solving activities that build patience, focus and reasoning.
Stories and language
Reading, storytelling and language activities that grow vocabulary and imagination.
Friendship and teamwork
Group activities where children learn to share, take turns and work together.
Movement
Age-appropriate movement and physical play to stay active and have fun.
Quiet time
Calm activities and opportunities to relax, recharge and reflect.
How we care
Helping every child feel settled and grow
Learning through play
Enjoyable, age-appropriate activities are one of the best ways for children to learn. Through play, children develop curiosity and independence, practise communicating their ideas, learn to get along with others and grow in confidence.
Routines and wellbeing
Predictable routines help children know what to expect, so they can relax and enjoy their time with us. Positive relationships and appropriate supervision support every child to feel safe and settled.
Supporting individual needs
Every child is different. We aim to understand each child’s individual needs and talk openly with parents and carers, so together we can decide whether our provision is the right fit for your child.
Working with parents and carers
You know your child best. We listen to parents and carers, share relevant information about your child’s time with us, and work together to make their experience a positive one.
Fees and funding
Childcare fees and Universal Credit
As an Ofsted-Registered Childcare Provider, eligible families may be able to get help with registered childcare costs through Universal Credit. Whether you qualify, and how much you can claim back, depends on your circumstances and the current government rules.
